I went down the pub and finally had a guiness. It was pretty darn good. I sat with a father and his son from Yorkshire. They were in town to meet with their member of Parliment rep who invited them for a tour. The dad was a retired journalist who had the funniest stories I had ever heard. He took this pic of me as proof of my guiness right of passage here in lovely ol' England. Take that Jim!

Hey there readers! I didn't want anybody to think Iam living in the lap of squalor here in London. Here is a pic of the outside street from my hotel. See? Very clean and safe. In fact, Scotland Yard is just down the street so I feel pretty safe mostly.
Shopping is so much fun here in London. Just take a look at the cute way they market their juice drinks for kids in the grocery store. Isn't that adorable? Who wouldn't love to have a "Happy Monkey" in their hands right now?
So I dropped by Buckingham Palace to say "Wazzzup!" but the guards said she was busy. Okay.. I can take a hint. I wandered around the grounds in case she changed her mind and took some pics of the palace (notice the flag.. it means she's home!), the front gates and the monument to Queen Victoria. I think she has done a swell job with the place. I got to get the name of her gardner!
